The movie is about a musician who is drugged and sold into slavery where he faces cruelty personified by a malevolent slave owner. He struggles to stay alive as well as retain his dignity. In short it is an incredible story of a man’s unbreakable sole and will to survive and attain freedom.


Unbroken is based on the 2010 non-fiction book by Laura Hillenbrand, Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. The film revolves around the life of USA Olympian and athlete who survives in a raft for 47 days after his bomber crash lands in the ocean during World War II. Unbroken personifies it’s title. The message is straight “Just believe in yourself and you will make it.”

Shawshank Redemption

Shawshank Redemption is full of emotions and inspiration and a must watch movie. The film revolves around two imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency. The movie says there is something inside us that no one can get to and no one can touch it; that’s our hope.
