After the movie shoot was finished, he had to attend a lot of therapy sessions, just to step out of the negativity of the character. No doubt he is so popular for his dedication and commitment.
Padmini had a talking parrot
Padmavati had a talking parrot named Hira-mani. This parrot was one of the closest friends of the princess. Her father ordered to get this parrot killed. Somehow the parrot managed to flee and then was trapped by a bird catcher. Bird Catcher sold that to a Brahmin, who then bought Hira-Mani to Rawal Ratan Singh. Hiramani narrated Padmavati’s beauty to Chittor King, Ratan Singh. Then Ratan Singh went to win princess Padmini.
History states many stories about how Padmavati’s father Raja Gandharv Sen of Singhal kingdom (Sri Lanka) arranged 16000 women for Rawal Ratan Sen’s men to accompany them to Chittor, when he married off Padmini, the most beautiful women of the world.

Informer of Sultan Khilji
There were many talented people in Chittor’s court and two of them were Bards brothers named as Raghav and Chetan. Both were also sorcerer and informer of Delhi’s Sultan Khilji. They used their evil skills to demand a part of Rani Padmini’s dowry as a means to keep them from giving their aptitude to the Sultan. Ratan Singh came to know about evil brothers and king banished them from his kingdom. Raghav Chetan went to the court of Sultan Khalji and told him about the exceptionally beautiful Padmini. Alauddin decided to obtain her and besieged Chittor. I don’t know how the director will portray these 2 brother’s character, if we see the trailer, then we can only see one informer.
Rawal Ratan Singh’s Death
Ratan Singh was a brave warrior and king of Chittor. Rawal Ratan Singh married Padmini after winning her in Swayanvar. Ratan Singh had 2 wives – Nagmati and Padmini. Ratan Singh was imprisoned by Khilji. Then Khilji expressed her lustful love for Padmini in a letter sent to Chittor. However, some brave warriors managed to rescue Ratan Singh. Rani Padmini’s Character
Deepika is playing the role of ‘Rani Padmini’, the Queen of Chittor, an epitome of wisdom and beauty. Deepika Padukone has charged Rs. 12 crore for portraying this remarkable role, the highest by any Bollywood actress. Rani Padmavati was the princess of the Singhal kingdom (Sri Lanka). She married Chittor’s king Ratan Singh. Sultan Khilji got to know about Padmavati from Chittor’s sorcerer and planned to conquer Chittor. He sent words to Rawal Ratan Singh that he was willing to offer friendship if he was allowed to see the epitome of beauty Rani Padmini’s face just once and also claimed that he considered ‘Padmini’ as his sister. The unwary Ratan Singh asked Rani Padmini to meet her newfound Brother, but the Rani Padmini was smart and she could smell Sultan’s lust. She refused to meet Delhi’s Sultan. She insisted that her husband allow the Sultan to look at her reflection in a mirror.
Khilji arrived to meet Rani Padmini, accompanied by his most trusted generals and soldiers. His generals examined the Chittor’s fort to plan their attack. Rani Padmini stood by a lotus pool as Khilji was stunned by her sparkling beauty. When Sultan got to know that he wouldn’t be allowed to meet the queen, then he felt embarrassed. Later, Alauddin imprisoned Ratan Singh and sent a letter note to Rani Padmini that if she wished her husband to get freed then she should immediately become his mistress. Before Alauddin Khalji could capture Chittor, Padmavati and her 16,000 companions committed Jauhar (self-immolation) to protect their honor. All of these women dressed up in their wedding finery and went into the room with the pyre, locked the door behind them and jumped into the flames in mass. The Sultan and his troops entered the Chittor fort, eager to seize all the females, but were highly disappointed when confronted with the evidence of the mass suicide.
